Roses in the Snake

I'll admit that I've become a little lazy. So lazy, in fact, that I let this site (link removed due to its nefarious nature) generate the title for this post. But I couldn't let February go by without one, single blog post. Why? I don't know. Why do we do anything?

If you want to check out some rides mapped by my trusty friend Garmin, you can look here.

(I think you can check out my other rides under "Activities." Although I'm not sure what someone who's not me will see under my Garmin Connect link.) There was some riding in CA this month (coupled with some learning about BG Fit), which was too short, but a nice change from NC. There was also a 14.5 mile mountain bike heavy half marathon on some single-track mountain bike trail. I plan to take a bike back there. It seems a better way to get to the top of Pilot Mountain.

This was the best picture from a ride this month. Coffee with Lil'D, as someone has nicknamed her, after the Wednesday shop ride. The barista is a gift to this earth.

And this the best movie...it involves Alpacas, which, initially, I though were llamas. Related, yes. The same, no. [Upright video coming soon. It seems technology has failed me. Those alpacas are so cute and furry that the world deserves a look, so I'll get it done, I promise.]

OK. That's enough for now. I'll write more regularly from now on since I'm getting rid of FB, Twitter, LJ and all these other diversions. (At least getting rid of them for a while.)

Happy riding!
